Dearest Joseph!   After You sent me some excerpts from you new book, I purchased and even though I am only half way through, I couldn't wait to contact you.  I had no idea that you had this in you!,  I am ecstatic that you wrote it.  It has actually put me there at the time ofter Jesus death, I feel like I am actually on the streets and back in that time.   After all of the years of Catholic study, of reading and discussing the Bible, studing Bible History I never felt this.  I went to Catholic University Campus Grade School, Holy Cross Academy for Girls and Dunbarton College on the Campus of Holy Cross in Washington DC.   Our house was even on the campus of Catholic University and My Aunt was the lay person head of The National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and my first job was there.   I was surrounded by our faith and our religion but never felt such a close connection to its origin and to Jesus and his followers on earth until your book.   I read a little each morning and meditate on what I read during the day. I am re-reading parts of the Bible over, it now has so much more meaning and I understand the culture of the times and the lives of the people so much more.    I wish I had spent more time with you at Bluegreen.  You are a soul to be relished.   Thank You Joe!

When reading scripture, we meet people who have a passing role and we are often left wondering "what ever happened to him/her? What was THEIR life all about? How did they handle THEIR encounter with Jesus and what was the impact on their lives after such an encounter? "Now or Never" breaks open our thoughts about many biblical characters and gives them real human qualities, good and bad, that many of us deal with in our own lives. A must read Hey Joe -   I just finished your book last night and I wanted to let you know I really, really enjoyed it.  I thought it was an excellent book and very well-written.   ... I particularly enjoyed the last part about the richest man in the world as it reminded me so much of what my father was really all about.   On a side note it was pretty ironic because at the time I was reading the part about living in the present, I happened to also be watching a golf tournament that tiger woods was playing in.  The announcers were talking about how Tiger is the best golfer in history, and maybe best athlete ever, in terms of staying in the present.  His focus on the current task at hand is incomparable as he never worries about the next shot or the shot that just happened.  Only the one he is working on now.  Pretty interesting stuff that can be applied to all aspects of life.   Thanks again for introducing me to ideas and thoughts I never realized.   John Geltrude
